2000-11-24 - 11:40 pm So, it is what I call a lonely night. My sister is home to visit, but she had a thing to go to tonight. At some local restraunt they are having this thing for her high school class. It is like a 5 year reunion, which is stupid in my mind. I mean like I could understand if it was like a 10 or 15 year reunion. That just makes more sense. Anyway, it got me thinking. No, not what I will be in 5 years. Just if they have in well almost like 4 years, since I graduated in 1999, this reunion thing.....would I go? Seriously, I thought about....and......NO! First of all, high school reunions are suppose to be,in my mind, every 10 years or more. Second, I did not and I mean it have no friends in my grade what so ever that I hung out wiht Senior year or last two years of highs school. Those two years I was hanging with Keith and his group of friends. Most of my friends were a grade or 2 below me. They were either a sophmore or Junior when I was a senior. Plus, when I think about high school now....I see Keith's face. It just brings a saddness and bitter taste to my mouth. So, that is why I would not go if someone I graduated with did that. I mean it seems down right pointless to me. My sister is going with a group of her friends to hers. Soemtimes I feel jealous she had a really close group of friends that were girls when she was in high school. When I did not have that. All I really had was Keith. I am serious....it may sound sad and weird, but it is true!! Change of topic time! So, I wnet ot my Aunt's house for Turkey Day. It was kind of boring, but fun in a way. Since I saw the only rleatives I am close to on my Mom's side. That is my 2 uncles, (One is my uncle who has downs syndrome and is the baby of the family that will be 50 next summer. Talk about miracle!! By the way,my Mom is 5 of 6 kids.)My Aunt who I love dearly and my Grandma. The cutest thing was my Grandma saying Grace. Usally, we never say grace, but my Grandma wanted to......picture an 88 year old lady very short who never wore pants and is so cute!! She said something like "Dear Lord, thanks for blessing us with this wonderful food and allowing as all to be together. Amen!" It was so cute! I almost wanted to cry! Anyway, that's about it!
